Do your homework, but don’t forget what’s important either.
Define your priorities and follow them.
Follow the rules even if you don’t like them.
Don’t forget to have fun every once in awhile.
Get involved. High school only happens once.
Do not be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
Be willing to help others but make sure you are putting yourself first.
Be open to new things, don’t be afraid to leave your comfort zone.
There is no such thing as too much coffee.
Laugh as much as you can, make the most out of high school because you can’t get it back.
It’s okay to cry sometimes.
Everybody is going through something even if it’s not the same thing that you’re going through.
There is a difference between being confident and being vain.
Try to find the best in every situation.
Sometimes you need a break, make sure you slow down when things get to be too much for you to handle.
Do not put your significant other before your friends.
Relationships and friendships do not last forever, you will know when it’s time to let someone go.
Listen to your parents, they only want what is best for you.
What other people say about you is not always true.
Always try your best.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
Remember that who you are in high school is not who you are going to be for the rest of your life.

High school is an important time for growth and maturity, which is why the lessons you learn in high school are ones you will most likely remember forever. Even though high school only lasts for four (short) years, you will still learn a numerous amount of things in this short period of time.
