The Pentucket National Honor Society (NHS) is holding its first food drive of the year in collaboration with Our Neighbors Table (ONT!
Throughout the month of February, there will be collection boxes all around the high school. These boxes will be in some classrooms, in front of the main office, in the hallways, etc. and the goal is to collect food and toiletry items to donate to ONT.
Background of Our Neighbor’s Table
Our Neighbor’s Table is a non-profit organization located in Amesbury MA that aids those who face food insecurity. ONT provides multiple different services, from free food markets to community meals. ONT’s mission is stated as: “Hunger comes in many forms. Our Neighbors’ Table is committed to establishing a community that provides for the whole person with nourishing food, kindness, and dignity.”

What to bring in:

It is absolutely vital that any items brought in must not be expired.

- Soup (Tomato, Chicken Noodle, Low Sodium)
- Canned Meals (Ravioli, Beef Stew, Chili, Spaghetti and Meatballs)
- Cereal
- Gluten-Free non-perishables
- Juice Boxes
- Canned Food (Meat/Fish, Fruits, Vegetables, Baked Beans)
- Individually Wrapped Snacks (Granola Bars, Chips, etc.)
Toiletries:
- Bars of Soap
- Shampoo
- Feminine Pads
- Diapers
- Incontinence Supplies
- Hand Soap
- Laundry Detergent
- Dish Detergent
- Baby Wipes
