Zachary Lane Bryan was born in Yokosuka, Kanagawa, Japan on April 2, 1996. Currently, Zach is 28 years old and is already one of the most famous musicians in the United States. He grew up in Oklahoma where he started writing his own music at the age of just 14.
In 2013, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he served as an aviation ordnance man in Florida and Washington. He served tours in Bahrain and Djibouti. That was before he got discharged to pursue his music career.
Path to Popularity
In 2017, while Zach was in the Navy, his friends would record him singing, and then later post it on YouTube. His first single on YouTube was “God Speed” which ended up being a track on his debut album. Some of his other popular songs, including “Heading South,” were also first recorded while he was in the Navy.
In 2015, Zach started posting on social media platforms like TikTok and YouTube. People became amused by his songs because of his poetic and relatable lyrics. This got him very far, and he eventually blew up. Bryan currently has nine albums with over 237 songs released.
Zach Bryan’s career truly kicked off after his songs “Something In The Orange” and “I Remember Everything”– which was a Grammy-winning duet with Kacey Musgraves. After this popular release, Bryan made his first debut in the Historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville Tennessee, where he toured for the first time in October 2019. With his major increase in popularity, Bryan now makes an average of about $4.3 million each tour.
