No matter what dish you are craving, Haverhill has the restaurant for you. Not only does Haverhill offer a variety of options, but also offers something for any pallet and budget. From my own time spent in Haverhill, I have curated a list of some of my favorite restaurants for any occasion.
Want Pizza?
Consider stopping by La Pizza Di Forno at 109 Merrimack Street.
Prioritizing authentic ingredients, they specialize in brick oven pizza. The crispy dough and crust is praised by those who have tried it, and they offer an extensive selection of toppings. They were awarded with the “Best Pizza Spinner” and “Favorite Takeout Restaurant” awards at the Tasty Awards 2025, and have an exceptionally friendly wait staff.
Want Mexican?
Head over to Barrio, at 2 Merrimack Street.
Barrio is the perfect location for a night out with friends and has an upbeat, social atmosphere. Each taco is customized by the customer, from the protein to their unique sauces, one of which includes their very own “Barrio Secret Sauce”. They offer complimentary fresh corn tortilla chips, accompanied by their house salsa. My personal favorite addition to the chips is their creamy “Stoner Queso”. Despite their high quality dining experience, the overall cost is very reasonable.
Want Italian?
Book a reservation at BOSA, on 160 Merrimack Street.
BOSA became a part of Haverhill Cuisine just last year, and was voted Haverhill’s “Best New Restaurant” of the year. Not only do they offer authentic Italian, but also serve brunch on the weekends, one of their staples being their banana bread french toast and breakfast pizzas. The high end restaurant offers beautiful ambiance and great service, and the dining experience is certainly one worth investing in.
Want Greek?
Pay a visit to The Fat Greek, located at 15 Washington Street.
No matter what time or day of the week, consistent fresh meals will be served. Not only are the meals refreshing, but they are also hearty and filling. I love to order the veggie gyro, and am never disappointed. It’s convenient, easy, authentic and perfect for any day.
Want Comfort Food?
Settle down at The Hidden Pig, at 130 Washington Street.
Sometimes, a good burger is all you need. The Hidden Pig is a fan favorite for American food, and does not disappoint with their bold savory flavors. Some of my personal favorites include their fried pickles, as well as their mac and cheese. Overall, this is the place to be when you are craving the classics.
