On Tuesday, March 15th, four Pentucket Freshman met with with Massachusetts State Representative James Kelcourse at River Valley Charter School in Newburyport. Students Allison Brookhart, Ashley St. Louis, Janet Dickens, amd Ryan Gallagher went to discuss the campaign to name the new I-95 Southbound bridge after 19th century abolitionist William Lloyd Garrison.  This idea started as a petition that went around Pentucket high school and is now being discussed later this month by Newburyport city councilors and representatives.
