It’s that time of year again… the District is renewing the contract with its food service provider!

Currently, the food service provider is Chartwells (http://www.chartwellsschools.com/). However, this June, the contract with this corporation expires. The School Committee is deciding between two companies to sign a contract with next year (one of these companies is Chartwells).

No matter which company the School Committee picks, this contract negotiation opens up a fresh plate of opportunities for students.

Since students make up the majority of diners in the Pentucket cafeteria, they should have significant input into what will be served.
