A Day at the Theatre

To be or not to be, that is the question Pentucket English students pondered Wednesday October 26, 2016 as they journeyed to Boston’s Church of the Covenant to see Hamlet performed by experienced Shakespearean actors.

The acting company putting on the production is the same company that performs Shakespeare on Boston Common.

The church is an old historical building in the 1860s. The sanctuary is beautifully decorated with tiffany windows that create an awesome atmosphere for worship yet also a perfect place for students to immerse themselves in the events of Shakespeare’s Hamlet.

The theater provides entertainment but it also provides educational opportunities for all audience members, whether they be students or teachers, to discover something special in a classic tragedy.
