Boston Calling

I realize that it’s only February, but I personally couldn’t be more excited about the warm Spring and Summer months ahead.

One of my favorite activities to do in the nice weather is to see concerts. There’s nothing like seeing your favorite artists perform live at a venue near you. There are so many amazing concerts upcoming this year locally.

Here’s a list of just a few unique concerts that are worth looking at:

Boston Calling Music Festival: May 23-26th. Boston City Hall Plaza.

I was recently introduced to the idea of this festival. A 3 day event, Boston Calling is featuring names like Jack Johnson, Edward Sharpe, and many more. Tickets vary from $50 for one day to $375 for a 3 day VIP package.

Dave Matthews Band: June 7th, 7 p.m. Comcast Center, Mansfield, MA.

Dave Matthew’s Band will be crashing into the Comcast Center this summer, it should be a great night.

Billy Joel : June 26th, Fenway Park, Boston, MA.

Billy Joel will be in Boston only one night this summer and this should be a great night. The Piano Man star will put on a great show and Fenway is an amazing place to see an outdoor concert.

James Taylor : July 3rd & 4th, Koussevitzky Music Shed, Lenox, MA.

James Taylor is playing two days over the summer at this small western Mass venue. Tickets are available on the lawn for $25 and this should sure be a fun night.

These are just a few of the many concerts that are coming to Massachusetts this summer. Concerts are a great way to spend summer nights, so as the warm months quickly approach and your calendar fills up, consider going to see some live music.
