Most people cannot believe that the year of 2018 has passed and we are now upon 2019 because it seems like just yesterday was the start of 2018. The year of 2018 was huge for new movies, including Avengers Infinity war, Aquaman, Black Panther, The Incredibles 2 etc. A lot of the movies that came out in 2018 will have sequels that come out in 2019, which is pretty exciting if you were left on a cliff hanger from the last movie.

One of the upcoming movies that many Marvel fans cannot wait for is Avengers 4. Avengers 4 is the sequel to Avengers Infinity War, which will wrap up what happened in the previous movie. In case you have not watched Avengers Infinity War, a villain named Thanos kills half of the population of planets so they won’t go hungry and suffer. He carries a gauntlet, which leads him to believe that he is a god and he uses it to destroy the planets. Half of the Avengers team was taken out by Thanos. But in the new Avengers movie the team is rebuilt by other Marvel characters like Ant Man and Hawkeye who make an appearance in the movie as well as new characters. The only downside about this movie is that it does not premiere until May 3, 2019, so many fans will have to wait a few more months before watching it.

Another upcoming movie of 2019 is John Wick: Chapter 3. This is the third movie in the series and each movie just gets better and better. The first John Wick movie was about John being a retired hitman, but then leaving this life behind when he marries his wife, who unfortunately died to cancer later on. He is further devastated when people from his past steal his car and kill his new dog, who he cherishes and loves. He tracks the people down to get vengeance. In John Wick: Chapter 2 John has a bounty placed on him and he is on the run to try to survive from other hitmen who are trying to murder him. Most of the people trying to kill John are people from the past who he has worked with. John Wick: Chapter 3 is a continuation of his run from his former allies who he has worked with all of his life. Although it sounds similar to the second movie, it’s a lot better and will seek action film audiences.

Many sequels are coming out in 2019 for great movies that came out during 2017-2018, but there is one coming out that many kids grew up watching.There is going to be a Toy Story 4 movie coming out in the summer of 2019. In the last Toy Story 3 movie, at the end Andy goes off to college and gives his toys away to a younger girl who would take care of them when they are gone. Many people would think that would bet the end of the movie series, although there will be a fourth Toy Story movie. It may not be exciting to some people, but if you have a younger cousin, sibling, or friend that loves Toy Story, it would be a great movie to take them to. There are so many great movies coming out in 2019 to look forward to that will excite people of all ages.
