Brynn McCarthy grew up in Haverhill, MA and transferred to Pentucket in the second grade.

Before Pentucket had its own team, Brynn played volleyball for Georgetown High School, as Pentucket co-oped with them.

After graduation, Brynn will be attending Curry College School of Nursing, where she hopes to become a registered nurse. She then intends to go to graduate school to become a Nurse Practitioner, with the hope of working at Boston Children’s Hospital post graduation.

One of Brynn’s favorite teachers at Pentucket is Dr. Bent. Brynn “had her for multiple classes Junior and Senior year,” and said, “she has helped improve my writing and also helped me to be able to help others with their own writing.”

When asked what she does in her free time, Brynn responded, “I have nannied every summer since freshman year, and I babysit almost every weekend. I also have worked at an ice cream shop in Haverhill for the last two years as a crew leader.”

One of her favorite Pentucket memories was being able to help writing lab classes and work with underclassmen to help them improve their writing.
