With the 2019-2020 school year coming to a close, Layne Thistlewood will have completed his time as a Pentucket Sachem and will be moving on to big things in his future.

Layne has run track during his sophomore and junior years. His events included the mile and shotput. He also ran cross country his junior and senior years. 

This fall, Layne will be attending UMass Lowell. He will be majoring in biology.

When Layne was asked what he will miss most about Pentucket, he could barely pick out just one, he will miss it all. However, he will mostly miss the amazing teachers he has had over the years who actually cared about the students they are teaching.

Layne worked at Skip’s Snack Bar during the summer of 2019. He is currently working at CVS, ever since December 2019. 

Out of all the crazy things that have happened during his high school years, Layne’s favorite memory would have to be any moment in AP Chem. It was one of Layne’s favorites, such a great class!
