The Island of Capri Sun

Congratulations – The Merrimac Schools are one of the Box that Rocks finalists.  Our Capri Island drink pouch collection station, which was designed by the art club students at Donaghue, is one of 15 finalists.  TerraCycle has chosen the top finalists and now it’s your turn to vote for the winners. Get your friends and family to vote for their favorite box, too!

Now more than ever, we need your support to help us win again. If we are chosen as one of the top ten finalists, we could potentially earn thousands of bonus points.  These points will be collected all year by recycling drink pouches; as a result, we will redeem them and give back to a charity of our choice at the end of this school year.  The Merrimac students should be very proud of themselves for recycling and volunteering their time to build this fabulous recycling station.

The ten winners will be announced after a two-week voting period which ends on November 6th.

Hurry, time is running out.   Please take a moment to vote for #7 on the TerraCycle contest page.

We encourage parents, teachers, and staff to log onto the Terracycle website to vote for the #7 collection station.  Our recycling station is titled, The Island of Capri Sun.

Thank you for supporting our recycling program!
