On Thursday, October 8th, Pentucket’s A.P. Biology class traveled to Topsfield, Massachusetts to canoe on the Ipswich River. They took samples of the river to find various sorts of macroinvertebrate. The class also analyzed various multiples to determine if the river’s ecosystem was healthy. After a brief lunch on a little island, the group canoed some more. All photos taken by Ms. Deacon.
