Appreciating Small Towns in New England: Is it really that beautiful?

Mill Pond, West Newbury

Mill Pond, West Newbury

More often than not, humans romanticize life in a big, bustling city. Restaurants, movie theaters, and limitless shopping tend to attract us to large cities, but do we pay enough attention to smaller towns that surround us?

Most of Pentucket’s students are lucky enough to live in one of the three towns, Merrimac, West Newbury, and Groveland. Even though we may not appreciate where we live enough, if you look closely you can notice how there is beauty all around us. No matter what season it is, New England has so many beautiful places to visit.

Here are some photos taken recently by me at some locations in the area!
