One of the biggest and arguably most controversial topics around the world currently is Artificial Intelligence. AI (artificial intelligence) has caused numerous changes in the world, including job replacement, dishonesty in education and more. AI has made such an impact throughout the world and is continuing to everyday, which leaves one question: What’s next for AI?
The long term future is hard to predict and when predicted, it is highly inaccurate. However, predicting what’s in store for AI in the next decade isn’t out of the picture. The way AI is going to advance can be scary, but it’s definitely worth noting because the changes can alter our world permanently.
AI is used in jobs, work spaces, schools, and businesses. It’s become a daily part of our lives even if nobody notices it. First, it’s important to look at how AI has already advanced. Throughout the past 3 years, AI has already made a highly noticeable change. This is evident with sources such as ChatGpt and Sora AI, a new and highly advanced free AI system. Numerous individuals have noticed it, and in this time frame, AI has infiltrated itself into numerous daily aspects of life.
According to Stanford EDU’s 2025 Artificial Intelligence Report, since 2023, AI has become more affordable and useful. Numerous AI benchmark performances have also risen up to 67 percentage points since 2023. Considering these big changes were made in such a small time frame poses the question, “What about the next 10 years?”
By the year 2036, numerous things in the world besides artificial intelligence will have changed in drastic ways. Numerous new jobs will be created, classes, new financial standards, and new impactivel creations. When it comes to AI, it will also have a big change. According to Zilliant, in 10 years, AI will have less process friction, improved data literacy, and business literacy.
This means a lot for AI. As far as less process friction goes, this means that AI will be able to compute much harder tasks in quicker time. Numerous other sources also claim that AI will be able to remember the same or more information than humans in the next 10 years. With improved data literacy, companies will incorporate AI into their businesses in bigger ways, even including talking to customers. With more business resiliency, AI will generate more sales for companies and better ratings from customers with better experiences.
It’s without a doubt that AI will have a major improvement in the next decade. While it’s not very specific, it can be assumed the changes will be drastic, either for the better and or worse. Our world plays a big part in supporting AI, so with these new changes comes a better way of life every day.
